However, 75% of the time, traditional remote sensing systems are unable to provide imagery data due to clouds or lack of daylight. ICEYE has developed a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging platform that solves this problem. Unlike traditional remote sensing companies, ICEYE is able to provide remote sensing imagery data at all times of the day and regardless of atmospheric conditions.
