Company Overview
The Speqtral team has made significant progress to date both in terms of technical development and customer traction. Their core technology was demonstrated on a cubesat mission at the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore, a SGD100 million research facility dedicated to the development of quantum technology. SpeQtral is now collaborating with Toshiba bring Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) solutions to governments and enterprises in Southeast Asia.
Thesis Fit
SpeQtral provides a step change in quantum safe communications at a global scale. The company is developing both the quantum lightsource able to operate on a cubesat and the ground terminal that can integrate with terrestrial fiber QKD solutions. SpeQtral is another stellar example of our SatCom thesis, where we see the terrestrial and satellite-based networks converging to deliver next generation security applications.
